02 About the Platform
GigLink is a global marketplace that connects businesses with pre-vetted finance experts. GigLink's role is to facilitate matches between Businesses and Experts — we are not a party to any Engagement between them.
GigLink also operates the Learning Hub and Mentoring platform, through which approved Experts may offer training sessions, articles, recordings, and 1-on-1 mentoring. GigLink's role in relation to these products is that of a marketplace facilitator and technology provider. GigLink does not create, endorse, or warrant the content of any Learning Hub product or Mentoring Session.
GigLink does not employ Experts. Experts are independent contractors who operate their own businesses and are solely responsible for their own legal, tax, and regulatory obligations in their jurisdiction.
GigLink aims to maintain platform availability 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We may need to take the platform offline for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will notify Users of planned downtime where possible.
03 Registration
To access GigLink's services, you must create an account. By registering you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction;
- all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete;
- you will update your information promptly if it changes;
- you will keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others; and
- you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
GigLink may suspend or close accounts where false, inaccurate, or misleading information is provided, or where these Terms are breached.
Expert Registration
Finance experts who wish to be listed on GigLink must complete the Expert application process, which includes credential verification, profile review, and intro video assessment. Approval is at GigLink's sole discretion. Approved Experts must also connect their Stripe Express account via Stripe Connect before receiving any payments through the platform.
Mentor Registration
Approved Experts who wish to offer mentoring sessions must separately apply for Mentor status. GigLink reviews mentor applications and approves them at its sole discretion. Mentors must have a connected Stripe Express account before sessions can be activated.
04 How GigLink Works
For Businesses
- A Business posts a Brief describing the finance expert they need, including scope, timeline, and budget.
- GigLink reviews the Brief and matches it against approved Experts using specialisation, location, and availability.
- GigLink delivers a curated Shortlist within 48 hours (Standard), 24 hours (Fast Track), or instantly (Premium — 10 matches).
- The Business reviews profiles, watches intro videos, books interviews via the platform, and selects their preferred Expert.
- GigLink facilitates the connection. The Business and Expert agree engagement terms directly.
- The Engagement commences and GigLink handles all invoicing, billing, and payment administration.
For Experts
- An Expert applies to join GigLink and completes the vetting process.
- Once approved, the Expert connects their Stripe Express account via Stripe Connect.
- The Expert's profile is visible to Businesses via the platform.
- When matched to a Brief, the Expert may be included in a Shortlist delivered to the Business.
- If selected, the Expert engages directly with the Business under agreed terms.
- GigLink issues invoices on the Expert's behalf and collects payment from the Business.
- GigLink remits payment to the Expert's Stripe Express account, less the platform fee, on the agreed payment cycle.
GigLink facilitates the connection between Businesses and Experts but is not a party to any Engagement. All contracts for services are entered into directly between the Business and the Expert.

Expert Rates
Each Expert sets their own hourly or day rate for client engagements, their own session rate for mentoring, and their own pricing for Learning Hub products. These rates are displayed publicly on their profile or product listing. Businesses and Mentees agree to the relevant rate before any Engagement, session, or purchase commences. There are no hidden fees or rate changes after an Engagement, session, or purchase is confirmed.
Billing and Invoicing
By accepting these Terms, each Expert grants GigLink a Billing Mandate authorising GigLink to issue invoices in the Expert's name and on their behalf for all Engagements, Mentoring Sessions, and Learning Hub products completed through the Platform. The Expert retains full responsibility for their tax and legal obligations as an independent contractor in their jurisdiction.
Permanent Placement Fee
If a Business offers an Expert direct employment either during or within 6 months of an Engagement ending, a placement fee of 5% of gross annual salary (including bonuses and other remuneration) is payable by the Business to GigLink within 30 days of the employment commencement date. This clause applies regardless of whether the initial Engagement was completed.
06 Payment Infrastructure
Stripe Connect — Primary Payment Method
GigLink uses Stripe Connect as its primary payment infrastructure for all transactions on the platform, including client engagement payments, mentoring session payments, and Learning Hub purchases. Stripe Connect is a third-party service provided by Stripe Inc. and is subject to Stripe's own terms of service and privacy policy.
All Experts who wish to receive payment through GigLink must connect a Stripe Express account via Stripe Connect before any payment can be made to them. GigLink will not make payments to bank accounts, PayPal, or any other payment method that bypasses Stripe Connect for standard platform transactions.
Stripe Connect enables GigLink to hold funds securely, split payments automatically, and release payouts only after work is verified. This protects both Businesses (funds aren't released until work is approved) and Experts (payments are processed reliably and transparently without relying on a Business to manually pay). GigLink strongly encourages all parties to use Stripe Connect for all transactions.
How Stripe Connect Works for Experts
When a Business's timesheet is approved or a payment event is triggered (such as a mentoring session completing or a Learning Hub purchase being made):
- Stripe processes the payment from the Business or buyer.
- GigLink's platform fee is automatically deducted.
- The net payout is transferred to the Expert's connected Stripe Express account.
- Stripe deposits the funds to the Expert's nominated bank account on Stripe's standard payout schedule (typically 2–7 business days depending on the Expert's country and bank).
GigLink is not responsible for delays caused by Stripe's processing times, the Expert's bank, or banking system outages. All payout timelines are subject to Stripe's terms and conditions.
Stripe Connect — Expert Responsibility
Experts are responsible for:
- setting up and maintaining a valid Stripe Express account;
- ensuring their nominated bank account details in Stripe are current and correct;
- complying with Stripe's identity verification requirements (KYC); and
- notifying GigLink promptly if their Stripe account is suspended, restricted, or closed.
GigLink is not liable for any loss suffered by an Expert as a result of an incorrect bank account being connected to their Stripe Express account, or as a result of Stripe suspending or restricting the Expert's account.
EFT — Secondary Payment Method (Limited Circumstances)
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) is available as a secondary payment method in limited circumstances only. EFT may be offered where:
- a Business is unable to pay by card and has been approved in writing by GigLink;
- the transaction involves a permanent placement fee or other non-recurring payment; or
- GigLink determines at its sole discretion that EFT is appropriate for a particular transaction.
Experts should be aware that EFT transactions carry greater risk than Stripe Connect payments. Unlike Stripe Connect, EFT payments depend entirely on the Business voluntarily transferring funds. GigLink cannot guarantee or enforce EFT payments in real time. Experts who accept EFT arrangements do so acknowledging this risk. GigLink's role in EFT transactions is limited to issuing the invoice and making reasonable efforts to follow up non-payment.
Where EFT payment terms are agreed, Businesses must pay invoices within the timeframe stated on the invoice (typically 14 days). Late payment may result in account suspension and referral to a debt collection agency or legal proceedings.
07 Non-Payment by Business
GigLink's Position on Non-Payment
GigLink operates as a marketplace facilitator and billing agent. GigLink does not guarantee payment by a Business to an Expert. Where a Business fails to pay an invoice — whether via Stripe or EFT — GigLink's obligations are limited to the actions described in this clause.
GigLink will not advance, lend, or otherwise fund payments to Experts from its own resources where a Business has failed to pay. An Expert's recourse in the event of Business non-payment is against the Business directly. GigLink will provide reasonable assistance, including invoice documentation and platform correspondence records, to support the Expert in recovering amounts owed.
Stripe Connect Transactions — Non-Payment
For Stripe Connect transactions, payment is captured at the time of invoice approval or timesheet approval. Where Stripe Connect is used correctly, the risk of non-payment to an Expert is significantly reduced because:
- card payment is captured before funds are released;
- for Trial Engagements, funds are held in escrow before work begins; and
- GigLink releases funds to Experts only after payment is confirmed by Stripe.
In the event that a Stripe payment fails after a timesheet has been approved (for example, due to an insufficient funds decline or a disputed charge), GigLink will:
- notify both the Business and the Expert immediately;
- attempt to collect payment from the Business via an alternative method within 7 days;
- if payment cannot be collected, suspend the Business's account pending resolution; and
- provide the Expert with all documentation necessary to pursue the Business directly or via legal proceedings.
GigLink will not withhold payout to an Expert where the payment failure is solely due to a Stripe processing error or platform fault. In those circumstances, GigLink will work to remedy the issue at its own expense.
EFT Transactions — Non-Payment
Where EFT payment terms have been agreed and a Business fails to pay within the invoice due date, GigLink will:
- issue a formal payment reminder to the Business within 3 business days of the due date;
- escalate with a final demand within 7 business days if payment is not received;
- suspend the Business's account and access to the platform pending payment;
- refer the debt to a third-party debt collection agency if payment remains outstanding after 21 days; and
- provide the Expert with all invoice documentation to enable independent legal action against the Business.
GigLink does not assume liability for the Business's failure to pay via EFT. The debt is owed by the Business to the Expert (with GigLink acting as billing agent). GigLink's role is to support recovery, not to guarantee payment. Experts accept this risk when engaging with Businesses on EFT payment terms and are encouraged to maintain Stripe Connect as their preferred payment method wherever possible.
Chargebacks and Disputes
Where a Business initiates a chargeback through their card issuer in relation to a completed and approved Engagement, GigLink will contest the chargeback on the Expert's behalf using the platform's records (timesheets, approvals, communications). GigLink will provide all available evidence to Stripe to support the chargeback dispute. GigLink cannot guarantee the outcome of chargeback proceedings, which are determined by Stripe and the card networks. Where a chargeback is upheld and funds are clawed back by Stripe, GigLink is not liable to reimburse the Expert for those amounts, but will provide full documentation to support legal action against the Business.
08 Shortlist Tiers
Businesses may select from the following shortlist options when posting a Brief:
Standard (Free)
GigLink will deliver a curated shortlist of up to 3 pre-vetted Finance Pros within 48 hours of the Brief being approved. Standard shortlists are reviewed and hand-picked by the GigLink team.
Fast Track ($79)
The Brief is prioritised in GigLink's matching queue. A curated shortlist of up to 3 Finance Pros is delivered within 24 hours. The Fast Track fee is non-refundable once the shortlist has been delivered.
Premium — Instant Matches ($149)
Upon payment, the Business immediately receives access to 10 matched Finance Pro profiles ranked by fit score. Profiles are algorithmically matched using specialisation, location, availability, and experience. Businesses can browse, book interviews, initiate trials, and hire directly from the Instant Matches page. The Premium fee is non-refundable once Instant Match access has been granted.
Shortlist fees are non-refundable once the shortlist or instant matches have been delivered. If GigLink is unable to deliver a shortlist within the promised timeframe, a full refund will be issued upon request.
09 Expert Products
Pro Subscription ($19/month)
The Pro Subscription is a monthly recurring subscription available to approved Experts. Pro subscribers receive unlimited brief applications (free tier is limited to 3 applications per month), priority consideration in matching, and access to enhanced profile features. The Pro Subscription is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
Verified Badge ($29 one-time)
Experts may purchase a Verified Badge, which indicates that GigLink has completed an enhanced credential verification process for that Expert. The $29 fee covers the cost of verification and is non-refundable. The Verified Badge remains active while the Expert's credentials remain current. GigLink may remove a Verified Badge if an Expert's credentials lapse or are found to be inaccurate.
Spotlight Tokens
Experts may purchase Spotlight tokens which, when applied to a specific Brief, cause the Expert's profile to be featured prominently in the Shortlist presented to that Business. Spotlight tokens are priced per use and may be purchased individually or in bundles. Tokens are non-refundable once applied to a Brief. Purchasing a Spotlight does not guarantee selection or shortlisting — it increases visibility only.
Expert product purchases are subject to Stripe's payment processing terms. All Expert product fees are charged in AUD unless otherwise specified. Currency conversion fees may apply for international payments.
10 Mentoring
About the Mentoring Platform
GigLink's Mentoring platform allows approved Mentors to offer paid 1-on-1 video sessions to other platform users (Mentees). All Mentoring Sessions are conducted via GigLink's integrated video platform. GigLink provides the booking, payment, and video infrastructure — it does not provide mentoring services itself and is not responsible for the content, quality, or outcome of any session.
Mentor Eligibility and Approval
To become a Mentor, an Expert must:
- hold approved Expert status on GigLink;
- submit a Mentor application including their session rate, areas of expertise, and professional background;
- be approved by GigLink at its sole discretion; and
- have a connected Stripe Express account.
GigLink reserves the right to suspend or remove Mentor status at any time where a Mentor receives repeated negative feedback, fails to show up for sessions, misrepresents their credentials, or otherwise breaches these Terms.
Session Booking and Payment
When a Mentee books a session:
- Payment for the full session rate is authorised on the Mentee's card via Stripe.
- The session is confirmed and a video room is created.
- Following the session, payment is captured by Stripe.
- GigLink deducts its 15% platform fee and remits the remaining 85% to the Mentor's Stripe Express account.
Mentors set their own session rates and durations. GigLink does not set or negotiate session pricing.
Cancellations
- Cancellation by Mentee (more than 24 hours before session): Full refund issued to the Mentee's original payment method.
- Cancellation by Mentee (less than 24 hours before session): No refund. The Mentor will be paid their full rate less the platform fee.
- Cancellation or no-show by Mentor: Full refund issued to the Mentee. The Mentor's account will be reviewed. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in suspension of Mentor status.
- Technical failure (GigLink platform): If a session cannot proceed due to a GigLink platform fault, the session will be rescheduled at no cost or a full refund issued at the Mentee's election.
Mentor Conduct
Mentors must conduct sessions professionally, punctually, and in accordance with GigLink's community standards. Mentors must not solicit Mentees to conduct sessions, transactions, or ongoing arrangements outside the GigLink platform. Doing so is a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.
GigLink is a platform facilitator for mentoring services. GigLink does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or outcome of any Mentoring Session. The advice, guidance, or information provided by a Mentor is that Mentor's own and does not represent GigLink's views or recommendations. Mentees engage Mentors entirely at their own discretion.
11 Learning Hub
About the Learning Hub
The GigLink Learning Hub is a marketplace for finance-focused educational content. Approved Experts may host live group training sessions, publish written or document-based articles, and make session recordings available for purchase. GigLink provides the infrastructure and payment processing — it does not create, curate, or endorse any Learning Hub content.
Content Approval
All Training Sessions and Articles must be submitted for approval by GigLink before they are made available on the Learning Hub. GigLink reviews content for appropriateness, relevance, and compliance with these Terms. Approval is at GigLink's sole discretion and is not a guarantee of quality or accuracy. GigLink may remove content at any time without notice where it does not meet platform standards or where a legal or compliance concern arises.
Training Sessions
When a user registers for a Training Session:
- A payment intent is created on the registrant's card via Stripe for the session price.
- The host Expert reviews and approves registrations.
- On approval, Stripe captures the payment.
- GigLink deducts its 20% platform fee and remits 80% to the host Expert's Stripe Express account following session completion.
- Where a session is recorded and the recording is made available for purchase, recordings are sold separately at the host's set price and subject to the same 20% platform fee.
Hosts set their own session prices, maximum attendee numbers, and duration. GigLink does not control session content, delivery, or quality.
Articles
When a user purchases an Article:
- Payment is processed immediately via Stripe.
- The user receives immediate access to the article content.
- GigLink deducts its 20% platform fee and remits 80% to the author's Stripe Express account.
Free articles are available at no charge. All paid article purchases are final — see the Refunds and Satisfaction clause for details.
Host and Author Obligations
Experts who host sessions or publish articles on the Learning Hub agree to:
- ensure all content is accurate, professionally presented, and not misleading;
- hold any professional qualifications or credentials referenced in their content;
- not reproduce, plagiarise, or infringe the intellectual property of any third party;
- not include personal solicitation, external advertising, or links to services outside GigLink without GigLink's prior written consent;
- deliver live sessions on time and as described; and
- respond promptly to participant questions raised through the platform.
GigLink is a technology platform and marketplace. GigLink does not verify the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any Learning Hub content for any particular purpose. Users who purchase or attend Learning Hub content do so at their own risk. Nothing in any Learning Hub content constitutes financial, legal, accounting, or professional advice. Users should seek independent professional advice before acting on anything learned through the Learning Hub.
12 Refunds and Satisfaction
General Policy
GigLink operates a marketplace where independent Experts provide services, content, and sessions. As a facilitator, GigLink's ability to issue refunds is governed by the nature of the product purchased. The following policies apply:
Training Sessions — Refunds
- Cancellation by registrant (more than 48 hours before session): Full refund to original payment method.
- Cancellation by registrant (less than 48 hours before session): No refund. The session fee has been committed to the host.
- Session cancelled by host: Full refund to all registered attendees. GigLink will also review the host's account.
- Session significantly different from description: Registrant may raise a dispute within 48 hours of the session. GigLink will review and may issue a partial or full refund at its discretion.
- Technical failure preventing attendance (GigLink platform fault): Full refund or rescheduling at the registrant's election.
Dissatisfaction with session content, style, or quality — where the session was delivered as described — does not automatically entitle a registrant to a refund. GigLink will consider disputes on a case-by-case basis.
Articles — Refunds
Article purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been granted, because the content is made available immediately upon purchase. Refunds may be considered where:
- the article content is materially different from its description;
- the article is found to contain plagiarised or infringing content; or
- a technical error prevented the purchaser from accessing the content.
To request a refund, contact support@giglink.io within 7 days of purchase. GigLink will review the request and respond within 5 business days.
Session Recordings — Refunds
Recording purchases are non-refundable once access to the recording has been granted, as the content is delivered immediately. Where a recording is found to be technically defective (e.g. unintelligible audio or missing content), GigLink will work with the host to provide a corrected recording or issue a refund.
Mentoring Sessions — Refunds
Refer to the Mentoring clause (Section 10) for session cancellation and refund terms. Where a Mentee is dissatisfied with a completed session, they may raise a dispute within 24 hours of the session ending by contacting support@giglink.io. GigLink will review the complaint but does not guarantee a refund for completed sessions where the Mentor attended and delivered the session as booked. Dissatisfaction with the advice or guidance provided by a Mentor, where that session was delivered in good faith, does not entitle a Mentee to a refund.
Client Engagement Fees — Refunds
Platform fees deducted from Expert payouts for client Engagements are non-refundable once a timesheet has been approved and payment processed. Where an Engagement is disputed, refer to the Disputes clause (Section 19).
Nothing in this refund policy limits any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation, including the Australian Consumer Law for Australian consumers, or equivalent laws in other jurisdictions.
13 Trial Engagements
GigLink offers a Trial Engagement feature that allows Businesses to engage an Expert for a short defined period before committing to a full engagement. Trial Engagements work as follows:
- The Business selects a Trial and specifies the hours (5, 10, or 20), agreed hourly rate, trial scope, and start date.
- Payment for the full trial amount is authorised on the Business's card and held in escrow via Stripe. The card is not charged until the trial is approved.
- GigLink notifies the Expert of the Trial offer. The Expert has 24 hours to accept or decline.
- If declined, the payment authorisation is cancelled and the Business is not charged.
- If accepted, the Expert performs the agreed trial work.
- Upon completion, the Business reviews the work and either approves or disputes the trial.
- On approval, the escrowed payment is released to GigLink, and the Expert is paid their portion (gross amount less 10% platform fee) within the standard payment cycle.
- On dispute, GigLink will mediate between the parties in accordance with the Disputes clause.
Trial payments are held securely in escrow by Stripe and are not released to the Expert until the Business explicitly approves the trial. If a dispute is not resolved within 14 days, GigLink may make a determination at its discretion.
14 Business Obligations
By using GigLink, Businesses agree to:
- provide accurate, honest, and sufficiently detailed Briefs so that Experts can fairly assess and respond to them;
- treat Experts, Mentors, and other platform users professionally and with respect throughout all communications;
- pay all invoices in full and on time in accordance with agreed payment terms;
- maintain a valid payment method on file with GigLink for Stripe Connect transactions;
- not engage, directly or indirectly, any Expert introduced through GigLink outside of the Platform during an Engagement or within 6 months of an Engagement ending, without paying the applicable fees;
- not cancel or reverse any payment after an Engagement has been validated or completed;
- not extract Expert contact details or other data from the Platform for recruitment, solicitation, or any other purpose outside of facilitating an Engagement through GigLink;
- comply with all applicable laws including work health and safety obligations where Experts are engaged on-site; and
- ensure that where an Expert works at the Business's premises, the environment is safe and free from foreseeable health risks.
15 Expert Obligations
By registering as an Expert on GigLink, you agree to:
- maintain current, accurate, and truthful profile information at all times;
- hold all credentials, qualifications, and memberships displayed on your profile and notify GigLink immediately if any lapse or change;
- connect and maintain a valid Stripe Express account to receive payments;
- perform all Engagements personally — subcontracting to third parties is not permitted without prior written consent from GigLink and the Business;
- maintain strict confidentiality in relation to all client information and materials accessed during Engagements;
- declare to GigLink all Engagements with Businesses introduced through the Platform, regardless of how payment is arranged;
- comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction including those relating to tax and independent contracting;
- hold appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance for the services you provide;
- deliver all Learning Hub sessions and content as described and on time; and
- not engage directly with Businesses or Mentees introduced through GigLink outside the Platform during or within 6 months of an Engagement or session, without GigLink's prior written consent.
Arranging Engagements, Mentoring Sessions, or other paid arrangements with GigLink-introduced parties outside the platform is a serious breach of these Terms. GigLink will seek compensation equal to 6 months of fees from the most recent Engagement or arrangement, in addition to any other remedies available.
16 Vetting and Quality
GigLink makes reasonable efforts to verify Expert credentials and assess profile quality before approving Experts for listing on the platform. This includes credential verification, work history review, and intro video assessment. GigLink also reviews Mentor applications and Learning Hub content submissions before approval.
However, GigLink does not guarantee the accuracy of all information provided by Experts, Mentors, or content creators, nor the quality, suitability, or outcome of any Engagement, Mentoring Session, Training Session, or Article. Businesses, Mentees, and Learning Hub users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any Engagement or purchasing any content.
GigLink monitors platform quality on an ongoing basis and reserves the right to remove or suspend Experts, Mentors, or content whose performance, conduct, or information does not meet platform standards.
17 Intellectual Property
GigLink Platform
All content, design, software, trademarks, and materials comprising the GigLink platform are the exclusive property of GigLink Pty Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our prior written consent.
User Content
You retain ownership of any content you post on GigLink, including your profile, intro video, profile materials, Learning Hub articles, training session materials, and recordings. By posting content, you grant GigLink a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.
Learning Hub Content
Purchasers of Learning Hub articles and recordings receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the content for their own personal learning purposes only. Purchasers may not reproduce, share, resell, or distribute any Learning Hub content without the prior written consent of the author or host and GigLink. Breach of this licence may result in account termination and legal action.
Engagement Deliverables
Unless otherwise agreed in writing between a Business and an Expert, all intellectual property rights in work product or deliverables created specifically for a Business as part of an Engagement will be assigned to the Business upon full payment. Experts warrant that deliverables do not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
18 Liability
GigLink's Role
GigLink is a marketplace platform. We facilitate connections between Businesses and Experts and provide infrastructure for Mentoring and Learning Hub services. GigLink is not a party to any Engagement, Mentoring Session, or Learning Hub transaction. GigLink is not responsible for the quality, accuracy, legality, or outcome of services performed by Experts, sessions conducted by Mentors, or content published by authors.
No Responsibility for Third-Party Payment Systems
GigLink uses Stripe Connect to process payments. GigLink is not responsible for any failure, delay, error, or suspension arising from Stripe's systems, the card networks, or any banking institution. Users agree that their use of Stripe Connect is subject to Stripe's own terms of service and that GigLink has no control over Stripe's operations.
No Guarantee of Income
GigLink makes no representation that any Expert will receive a particular volume of Engagements, that any Mentor will receive a particular volume of sessions, or that any Learning Hub content will achieve a particular number of sales. The platform is provided as a marketplace and GigLink does not guarantee any commercial outcome for any User.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GigLink's total liability to any User for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the platform is limited to the total fees paid by or to that User through GigLink in the 3 months preceding the claim.
GigLink is not liable for:
- any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage;

- any loss caused by a User's breach of these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including the Australian Consumer Law for Australian users.
19 Disputes
Between Businesses and Experts
Disputes between a Business and an Expert regarding an Engagement are matters between those parties. GigLink may, at its discretion, assist parties in attempting to reach an amicable resolution but is under no obligation to do so. Where a dispute is raised, both parties must notify GigLink via support@giglink.io and make genuine efforts to resolve the matter within 45 days.
Trial Engagement Disputes
Where a dispute is raised regarding a Trial Engagement, GigLink will review the trial scope, work submitted, and any communications between the parties. GigLink will make a determination within 14 days and may release, partially release, or refund the escrowed payment accordingly. GigLink's determination is final.
Learning Hub Disputes
